Eczema in babies is a fairly common thing and often it is also referred to as cradle cap. Another way to help treat eczema in babies is by making sure that you keep their skin very well hydrated. Often drying of the skin makes eczema worse so using soaps that are moisturizing can help. You can also use special hydrating lotions to help keep their skin hydrated as well. Another method of keeping their skin hydrated is using baby oil on them after their bath to keep the moisture in. Eczema in babies is often made worse by dry air as well. It is easy in the winter for the air in your home to get very dry. You can help keep the air humidified by purchasing a small humidifier and using it every day. This will help increase the moisture in the air in your home.
