If you suspect a child is being abused, discuss your suspicions with a responsible person such as a social worker in a general hospital or one of the following government agencies.

For legal reasons, do not discuss unproven suspicions with friends, neighbours or the parents themselves.

TAS: Child Protection Assessment Board;
VIC: Children’s Protection Society;
WA: Parent Help Centre;
NT: Community Welfare Division;
